For our own well being and good spiritual development, how many of us really do this today?

 1. Fall asleep with Wudu
 2. Sleep on your right shoulder
 3. Fall asleep with the intention to pray Fajr (on time)
 4. Read the Kalima
 5. Drift off reading the ayatul-Kursi
 6. Recite Salawaat ala Nabiy 10 times
 7. Read Surat Fatiha 4 times
 8. Read Surat Ikhlas 3 times
 9. Read the 4 Qul Surahs
 10. Do Istighfaar
 11. Forgive everyone before falling asleep
12. Finally, "Whoever says 'Bismillah' 21 times before falling asleep, Allah tells the angels to write down a good deed for every breath he takes".

Wa alikumusSalam,

Abu Fauzi,

In Islam, any act of worship has to come from 2 sources: either from Qur'an or from authentic Sunnah (authentic/sound Hadith...etc)...

Therefore, unless you can show us where you got the 12 acts above from, then some are fake and you should not be spreading innovation and fake Islam!

For example:

Act number 12 above:

Act number 7 above:
the Hadith mentioning this was not narrated in any of the reliable books of hadeeth, rather it is a mawdoo’ (fabricated) hadeeth which was falsely attributed to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

This advice is for anyone reading this... Do your research about the authenticity of what you are spreading... and also: try to include the sources (Qur'an, Hadith...etc) of where you got it from... in order to allow people to go & check/verify.

This is very important in Islam, because our Prophet SAWS warned us about spreading lies and falsehood: https://www.islamweb.net/en/fatwa/85679/hadith-about-telling-a-lie-on-the-prophet
