Michelle,

Please be aware that, in Islam, it is sinful to quote ideas and 'sayings', and attribute them (falsely) to the Qur'an, to Allah سبحانهوتعالى, to our Prophet ﷺ... or to anyone for that matter.

The Qur'an tells us how Allah سبحانهوتعالى was very displeased with people who did this in the past... for example look at 

[Qur'an 3:78] 

Sahih International: And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allah ," but it is not from Allah. And they speak untruth about Allah while they know.
